Mr. Ram Nomula is the Chief Executive of Media & Entertainment
Services at Moser Baer. In this position, he provides strategic leadership
to the division's media mastering, authoring, replication and packaging
services.
Prior to this, he was associated with Technicolor / Thomson, the world's
largest digital 'end to end' service provider for media &
entertainment companies. Ram's most recent position was Country Manager,
India (Strategy and Acquisitions for Services SBU) and was actively
involved in identifying media and entertainment business opportunities
during 2005 for Thomson..
Prior to that he was Executive Vice President, Worldwide Manufacturing
Development, at Technicolor Home Entertainment Services. He was providing
leadership in the areas of global manufacturing, outsourcing and business
growth strategies.
Ram has extensive experience in setting up large pre-recorded optical disc
(all formats) manufacturing operations and set up for Panasonic Disc
Services Corporation, Technicolor Optical Media Services, Disc
Manufacturing Inc. and Laser Video Inc. In addition to establishing &
managing 'state of the art' manufacturing facilities, Ram successfully
completed joint ventures with Kodak and Universal Music Services for
Panasonic Disc Services Corporation.
Ram graduated from Osmania University (Hyderabad) with a B.S. in
Mechanical Engineering and holds an M.S. degree in Industrial Operations
from Purdue University (Indiania) USA.
